My son just makes my heart melt. Took him up to get ready for bed, read a book, said our prayers, and I decided to stick around for a few more minutes to cuddle. He scooted up right next to me, turned his face toward me, and started rubbing my face and hair with his little hands while singing la la la la la la la quietly. Nearly put me to sleep! Brings tears to my eyes just thinking about his kind little heart.
After today's fiasco, this was simply perfect.....
